Paclara Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This policy explains how Max Poplawski ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Paclara iOS app, participate in its TestFlight beta, or contact support.
1. Information stored in Paclara
Paclara stores your information locally on your device. You may choose to export a CSV report or a Paclara backup containing information you have entered, which may include collaboration details, publication dates, financial information, payment status, notes, links, briefs, contracts, and attachments. Exporting is initiated by you and Paclara does not upload these files automatically. You choose where exported files are saved or shared. Anyone with access to an exported file may be able to view its contents. Paclara backups are not encrypted by Paclara. Deleting information from the app does not delete copies you previously exported. Paclara does not operate an account system or upload your planning content to a developer-operated server. The app may communicate with Apple through Apple-managed StoreKit services when it looks up products or related App Store information. Those StoreKit communications are with Apple, not a Paclara-operated network service. Device backups may include app data, depending on your device and backup settings.
2. How information is used
Locally stored information is used to provide planning, conflict checking, reminders, and saved preferences. Paclara does not use an AI service to analyse your content or use your content for advertising.
3. TestFlight beta testing
If you install Paclara through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares them with us. This can include device and operating-system information, app sessions, and crashes. Tester names and email addresses may also be available, depending on how you joined the beta. Feedback you submit, including comments and screenshots, is shared with us by Apple.
We use this information to manage the beta, investigate problems, and improve Paclara. We do not share information received through TestFlight with third parties. Avoid including private contracts or other sensitive information in feedback or screenshots. Apple’s handling of this information is described in TestFlight & Privacy.
4. Support emails
If you email paclara.support@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these details to respond to your request and resolve problems. Our support mailbox is hosted by Google’s Gmail service.
5. Sharing and retention
We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Local app content remains on your device until you remove it or the app’s data is deleted. Copies may remain in device backups. We retain support correspondence and separately retained beta feedback only for as long as needed to address requests, investigate issues, or meet applicable legal obligations. Information held within Apple’s TestFlight service is also subject to Apple’s retention rules.
6. Deletion and privacy requests
You can remove local app data using available deletion controls or by deleting the app and its data from your device. Offloading the app may preserve its data. Backups must be managed separately through your backup settings.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold through support or beta testing, email paclara.support@gmail.com. We cannot access or delete planning content stored only on your device.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Paclara or our data practices change. The revised policy will appear on this page with an updated date.
