An influencer payment tracker for brand deals
Publishing the content does not always mean a collaboration is finished. There may still be an invoice to follow up on or an agreed payment date to check. Paclara helps creators keep fees, invoices, payment deadlines and payment status alongside the work on their iPhone.
What to record before a payment is due
- Agreed fee: keep the amount and currency with the collaboration so you can refer to what was agreed.
- Payment contact: record the brand or agency contact who can help with payment questions.
- Invoice reference: keep the relevant invoice details and supporting notes with the deal.
- Payment deadline: enter the date that follows from your agreed payment terms.
- Payment status: update the record when you receive payment so paid and unpaid work stay clear.
Keep the original brief, agreement and relevant correspondence available for reference. If the payment date or process is unclear, confirm it with the brand or agency rather than assuming it starts on publication day.
Separate publication from payment
A deliverable can be published while its fee remains unpaid. Track the publication date and payment deadline separately, so finishing the content does not hide the remaining payment task.
For example, imagine a collaboration publishes on 14 June and has an agreed payment deadline of 14 July. On 20 June, the work may be published and the payment still outstanding without being overdue. If the deadline passes and payment has not arrived, the record gives you a starting point for a follow-up. These dates are illustrative, not a suggested payment term.
A simple weekly payment review
- Review collaborations with outstanding payments and check their recorded deadlines.
- Confirm whether payment has arrived before contacting the brand or agency.
- For an overdue payment, check the agreement and invoice details, then ask the relevant contact for an update.
- Record useful correspondence in your notes and update payment status when payment arrives.
A tracker makes the next action clearer. It does not replace checking your bank records or the terms you agreed.
A straightforward payment follow-up
You can adapt this example to the actual details of your collaboration:
Hello [name], I’m following up on invoice [reference] for [collaboration]. The agreed payment date was [date], and I have not yet received payment. Could you confirm its status and expected payment date? Please let me know if you need any further details from me.
Confirm the details before sending and keep a copy with your collaboration notes. Paclara does not send this message for you.
Does Paclara send invoices or collect payments?
Paclara helps you record and track collaboration payments. It does not send invoices, process brand payments, connect to your bank or automatically confirm that a fee has been received. Use your invoicing and banking tools for those steps, then keep your Paclara record up to date.
Keep payments connected to the whole deal
Use the brand deal tracker to keep deliverables, documents and payment records together. When preparing the next quote, explore pricing support based on your completed collaboration history. Keep any exclusivity and boosting commitments on their own timelines, even after the fee has been paid.
Your records stay local-first
